For 2019 I wanted to set myself a challenge, but what, 2019 miles of self propelled movement sounded like a good (maybe good isn’t the right word) idea! Swimming, Mountain Biking and Trail Running and adding up the total distance covered. So now that’s decided I figured a may as well help raise some money, I reached my goal on Boxing Day.

For 2020, I couldn’t think of a challenge so I’m just going to ride my bike as much as I can, I covered 2019 miles last year so what can I achieve in 2020? Turns out quite a lot, 4,428miles in fact. 

So for 2021 I thought I'd challenge myself to riding up big hills, something my body is not designed for, so I'd going to attempt to ride 100,000m up!! Well this one got the better of me, but only just 95,667m of climbing. 

2022 just disappeared so for 2023 I wanted to break the 100 mile off road barrier that I've been close to but never managed to get through. I achieved this on the 13th June, 133.29 miles riding from Liverpool to Leeds along the canal and then smashed it again 2 days on the bounce riding the Cotswold200.

2024, I have another 2 day event this year, not sure what or when at this point but I'm sure it will be epic.
